Student Ambassador Honored by Florida Governor Jeb Bush
Elizabeth Loefgren, from the Jacksonville, Fla., People to People delegation, was chosen as the Florida Governor's High School All-Star for Clay County.
The program recognizes one outstanding junior from each Florida county who excels in academics, community service, school involvement and extracurricular activities.
Elizabeth accepted the award from Gov. Jeb Bush at the governor's mansion in Tallahassee. As part of the honor, Elizabeth participated in a mock legislative session in the Senate chambers and was treated to lunch at the mansion.
