A Family is Born
Nearly 20 years ago, Brian Cooper set off to Europe as a Student Ambassador expecting to see the midnight sun in Moscow, share American music with foreigners, and maybe spend a little time with the locals in Sweden.
Along the way, he met his future wife and made a lifelong best friend. Nine years after their shared adventure, Cooper married fellow Ambassador Megan (McNish) Cooper, and they have two small boys, Sam, four, and two-year-old Ethan.
"I owe so much to People to People for who I am today," Cooper said. "While I realize that not all the youngsters who travel to countries with People to People will benefit in the same way I did, I do know that People to People is a tremendous opportunity to learn and grow."
