Memorial for People to People Founder, Dwight D. Eisenhower

In honor of President Eisenhower’s lifetime of public service, the Eisenhower Memorial Commission is planning to build a memorial for President Eisenhower. Their website details the process of this undertaking.

As the founder of People to People, Ike held the belief that the people of all nations could do more for lasting peace than could any of their governments. For over 50 years, People to People Ambassadors have traveled under Eisenhower’s vision of peace through understanding.
